Sunrise, Sunset....mostly Sunset
I have a photo gallery now, called Head in the Clouds. It's pretty much all daytime sky photography, since that's what I've been obsessing over since getting a digital camera; there are a few outdoors shots that focus on something other than pretty clouds. I welcome thoughts, comments...I like to hear which ones are people's favorites. For only two months of picture taking, I think I'm doing pretty good. But I can't wait for storm season...that's when the real fun starts. :-)

Hey, looking pretty good there. They look like a lot of the photos I took when we first got our camera. Some of my favorites are here. Most specifically, this sub-album from the state park.

Oh, and [info]hecateuse was awesome in getting these on our honeymoon in NOLA.

I have only one recommendation for when the storm season comes: get a tripod. Amazon has a good selection of collapsible ones (just search for "tripod") and they've REALLY helped my photographs come out better. Anytime the light is low and you need to have a longer exposure time, you'll want one. For me, my hand shakes just a little too much for the long exposures and the flash doesn't do crap for outside shots when it's dim. I'm certainly no expert, but now I can take night shots when before they'd just come out all blurry.
